Our Story
Why we exist.
Chaseman Global is an executive search firm that has spent years placing regulatory, R&D, and commercial leaders inside life sciences and agriculture companies. That work put us in constant contact with an uncomfortable pattern: the further you get from the actual farm, the more money there is in agriculture. Input suppliers, distributors, brokers, and service providers regularly build durable, profitable businesses, while the farmers and producers actually growing and raising the product are often living hand-to-mouth, exposed to weather, commodity prices, and margins they don't control.
That imbalance doesn't stay contained to one generation. It follows the children of farming and producer families, many of whom want to stay in agriculture (as agronomists, veterinarians, ag-business leaders, regulatory affairs professionals, or agtech builders) but can't afford the education to get there. Talented people leave the industry not because they lack ability or interest, but because the money follows a different part of the supply chain.
For our own team, that understanding became personal. The more we learned, firsthand, about just how difficult and expensive a college or advanced education has become in the United States, the clearer it was that simply noticing the problem wasn't enough; we wanted to do something about it, for the industry that makes our business possible in the first place.
FEEDAG was formed in October 2025 to interrupt that pattern: to move real resources, from the ag industry itself, directly to the students and families who make the whole system work. Without the farmers and producers we serve, our client base wouldn't exist, and as a planet, we simply couldn't eat. FEEDAG is our way of investing back in them, in whatever way we can, to support the dreams and aspirations of families who so often face the toughest financial decisions so the rest of us don't have to.
We've been fortunate to bring an outstanding board of industry peers into this work, people who've committed to FEEDAG's long-term goals and are building it alongside us, together, for the future of agriculture.
Why Now
Agriculture is losing talent it can't afford to lose.
Regulatory affairs, agronomy, ag-biotech, farm management, and commercial and ag-business expertise all face a widening skills gap as experienced professionals retire faster than they're replaced. At the same time, tuition and the opportunity cost of a four-year degree keep climbing, pricing out exactly the students who grew up closest to the work and burdening those who do enroll with high levels of student debt.
FEEDAG launches in 2026 with a founding funding commitment already in place and a clear thesis: the industry that depends on farming families should be the one investing in their children's futures, not leaving it to chance.

A transferable legacy
Our long-term dream goes beyond scholarships: one day, we hope FEEDAG can offer full-ride support and even its own student housing for the ag students it funds. An aspiration we're building toward, not a program available today.
